

Meet Bárbara Leal Reis
Bárbara brings a compassionate, integrative lens to her practice, supporting neurodivergent clients with care and clarity. Her international training and deep experience in psychology fuel her commitment to holistic wellbeing, helping individuals build confidence, emotional regulation, and meaningful connection.
My Story
Bárbara is a Provisional Psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a Level 4 Counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA). She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Brazil, a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Brazil, as well as a Post-Graduate Certification in Psychological Assessments. Bárbara has 8 years of experience as a Psychologist in Brazil, and is currently in the process of becoming a Registered Psychologist in Australia.

Bárbara has extensive experience working with neurodivergent individuals, particularly Autism, ADHD, and anxiety. Her therapeutic approach is compassionate, person-centred, and grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based interventions. She believes in an integrative and holistic view of health that connects mind, body, and environment.

She also has a strong background in neuropsychology and sport psychology, with a special interest in performance, motivation, and emotional regulation.

In her free time, Bárbara enjoys travelling, going to the beach, and staying active through physical and sports activities.
