

My Story
Matt Sutton is a registered Counsellor (Australian Counselling Association, Level 1), who is dedicated to supporting individuals in navigating life's challenges with empathy and understanding. He aims to create a safe environment and work collaboratively to help clients achieve their goals.
Matt has a special interest in working with men's mental health, individuals affected by alcohol and other drugs (such as addiction, or in recovery for addiction), ADHD, trauma, depression, and anxiety. Matt's own lived experience with mental health fuels his passion to support others in their journey.

Matt has previously worked in other counselling roles, residential youth care, and The Way Back Support service for suicide prevention. Matt has an extensive network of social services on the Gold Coast that he works in conjuction with in order to further support individual's in their journey.​

In his free time, Matt enjoys gaming, anime, watching sports, and going to the beach.

Matt's Availability:
Thursday: 4pm to 6pm
Friday: 9am to 4pm

Matt is also available for outreach (meeting with clients in the community or in their home) for an extra fee.
