Why does Divergent Minds Therapy have a Cancellation Policy?

​​At Divergent Minds Therapy, we do our best to be flexible and compassionate, while also maintaining the structure needed to keep the practice running smoothly and ensure fairness to all clients and clinicians. The cancellation policy is in place to help us manage time and resources effectively, especially as we often have a waitlist and limited appointment availability.

What is the Cancellation Policy?
To help you avoid cancellation fees, we send a confirmation text message 4 days before your appointment as a reminder and to give you time to make any necessary changes. Appointments that are cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur a cancellation fee.

• NDIS clients: Full Session fee applies

• Private paying clients or those using a Mental Health Care Plan: $120 cancellation fee

• Work Cover/WorkSafe: $120 cancellation fee​
