Why does Divergent Minds Therapy have a Cancellation Policy?

At Divergent Minds Therapy, we do our best to be flexible and compassionate, while also maintaining the structure needed to keep the practice running smoothly and ensure fairness to all clients and clinicians.

Our cancellation policy helps us manage appointment times and clinician availability, especially as we often have limited appointment availability and clients waiting for support.

What is the Cancellation Policy?

To help you manage your appointments and avoid cancellation fees, we send an SMS reminder 4 days before your scheduled appointment. When you receive this reminder, we kindly ask that you reply to confirm whether you are able to attend.

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, will incur the full session fee.

This policy applies to all Divergent Minds Therapy clients.

If you are unable to attend or need to reschedule, please let us know as early as possible so we can offer the appointment time to another client where possible.
