Mental Health Support for Men

Talking Isn't Always Easy – We Get That.

Private, judgement-free therapy tailored for men. Online and in-person sessions available on the Gold Coast.

Are you feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or stuck in your own head? You are not alone – and you don't have to stay in that place. Whether it's dealing with pressure at work, anger you can't explain, or just need to let it out, we're here to help. Our therapists offer a space where you can let your guard down without fear or judgement.

Common reasons men come to us:

  • Silent struggles with anxiety and depression – You don’t have to deal with this alone. Here, you can talk openly  about what’s on your mind and explore ways to feel more in control of your thoughts and emotions.

  • Anger or frustration affecting relationships – If you feel like your emotions are getting in the way, this is a space  to safely unpack what’s going on and discuss strategies to navigate challenging situations. ​

  • Past situations that still bring distress and discomfort – Some experiences can linger and affect daily life. You  can explore these experiences in a supportive, confidential environment at your own pace. 

  • Feeling disconnected or "numb" – If life feels distant or you’re struggling to connect with yourself, you can use  this space to reflect and understand your feelings in a way that feels safe.

  • Difficulties in relationships – Whether with partners, family, or friends, you can talk about the challenges you’re  facing and work through them with guidance that respects your experience.

​Seeking support means that men can be the best version of themselves, and be there for the ones they love most. ​​

Divergent Minds Therapy offers individualized support for men – by a man. Our counsellor Matt Sutton, is a registered Counsellor (Australian Counselling Association, Level 1), and has experience supporting men of all walks of life, by drawing on his own lived experience and mental health.
